Belgium head coach Roberto Martinez believes Everton striker Romelu Lukaku has all the ingredients and work ethic to become the most dangerous striker in the world.
Martinez who worked with Lukaku in his tenure at Everton and now with Belgium at International level seemingly knows the 23-year-old capabilities.
At the age of 23, I always believed he had the possibility of becoming the best No 9 in world football because he has absolutely everything.”
He said attributing the Everton striker’s progress to his desire to constantly improve and work towards being better.
‘From a very young age, he had an incredible goal scoring threat. Any footballer that is special at the highest level, has to be outstanding at something. When you work with Rom, you understand he lives for the games. It’s all about football in his life. He always wants to do more in training.
Lukaku will feature for Belgium against Greece later on today and Russia on Tuesday at the back of a stellar performance against Hull City in the Premiere League becoming the League’s top scorer in the process.
