Senegal International Sadio Mane scored one and provided another for Firmino as Liverpool ran riot in a 3-1 thriller against Arsenal at Anfield Sadio to help Liverpool as the race for top four intensifies.

Arsene Wenger had to make do without Mesut Ozil due to illness as well as top scorer Alexis Sanchez whom he controversially left out in favour of Olivier Giroud and Arsenal looked clueless on attack without their star men before halftime.

Danny Welbeck pulled one back in the second half through an Alexis Sanches assist but Arsenal struggled defensively to keep Liverpool at bay, conceding a Wijnaldum goal in the 91st minute.

Saturday’s victory sees Liverpool leapfrog Arsenal and Manchester City into third in the Premiere League table.
